Bon Appètit recently featured the Charleston Farmer’s Market in their list of Top 10 Lunches at Farmers’ Markets from around the country.  Fresh crepes, shrimp and grits, and pickled okra were among their favorites.  In addition to the downtown Charleston scene, locals enjoy farmer’s markets in Mount Pleasant, Daniel Island, North Charleston, and Summerville throughout the week.

Tonight Hootie & The Blowfish return to Daniel Island’s Family Circle Stadium for their 8th consecutive Homegrown Concert.  Tickets are available online at www.Ticketmaster.com, at local Mount Pleasant or Daniel Island Publix grocery stores, or at the Family Circle Stadium.  Doors open at 6:00pm and the opening act (Crowfield) begins at 7:00pm.  Wish you lived closer to all the action?
